Embracing the ethos of bespoke craftsmanship

ProtosDemos commissioned the crafting of custom furniture pieces and built-in cabinetry tailored to the unique dimensions and aesthetics of the Jugend home located in the heart of Helsinki. The inspiration for the interior came from Nordic modernism and from the look of the dining room. The interior design was based on our vision that Marianna Sorsa & Werner Barnard refined in collaboration. The key was to combine the old and the new.

The furniture were crafted using traditional techniques and modern innovation. In the renovation functionality and beauty was taken in count in equal measure. Each custom-made cabinet was crafted to exacting specifications, ensuring a seamless fit within the space while maximizing storage capacity and functionality. Attention to detail is evident, especially in the minimalistic kitchen design.
